too bad the kidoes in the other car did not get in a wreck. If it wouldn't have killed them, it would have taught them a lesson......

if they would have gotten in a wreck, i would have said that they deserved it. If i had been the person that got them pissed off, I would have laughed at them, and in no way feel bad for them........

oh yea, whoever invented traffic circles was really dumb. I didn't even learn about them in driver's ed. Yet, I had to use one the other day. I think I cut someone off by accident...... Have the road people ever heard of a stop sign and an intersection??

psteng- You didn't think that traffic circles wouldn't work in a city like NY. Actually, Bangkok, Thailand has them and they do work. I've never been to NYC, but I'd hazard to guess that they're approximately the same size. If I were to put my money on which one was larger, I'd pick Bangkok. Never seen worse traffic in my life. But they do work :)

well, sad to say, by downshifting and taking off *you* were perceived as the instigator by the other guy. that's generally the signal that "it's on".

as for him trying to catch up and passing you up as you got off, congratulations! you have experienced your first rice fly-by.

and yes, cars *are* meant to be driven. :D

what is a rotary?

It's New Englands way of pointing out all tourists and giving them enough confusion to stay out of town for a bit.

Nah, It's a large traffic island, placed in a major intersection, that makes people circle it counterclockwise in their cars. Those who know how to use it will enter the rotary and then leave on the road they wish to go to. Those who don't circle around a few times and go back whence they came or in some totally new direction.
Mother of all rotaries, England.
