Is there a SP2 or CD something that has all the latest updates available for download so that if I have to work on a client's pc w/ dialup I can install them all (up to that date)? Or do a one click install for all of them instead of downloading 50 different exe's and running them all separate w/ individual reboots?

Hehe i tryed to undo that out but it didnt work.. was trying to write something but it was not worth it.. i did undo the rest out.

Not that I am aware of but one could be made. I usually just install the lastest service pack, reboot, install remaining updates then reboot again.

Not that I am aware of but one could be made. I usually just install the lastest service pack, reboot, install remaining updates then reboot again.

I have the SP1 + a few patches already, but, since SP1a there's still a lot of security fixes that take a while over 56k. Usually I just don't update their systems... or tell them to after I leave. But it does suck, hopefully they'll do a SP1b and rollup the existing stuff at least... but I doubt it.

I heard that SP2 was supposed to be out this month or october... I'm guessing this is what you're wanting 🙂

They pushed XP SP2 back to this time next year IIRC. I maintain an ISO copy of WinXP with all the hotfixes slipstreamed in. It's not all that difficult. Download them all as individual EXEs (not via Windows Update), and use the mass deployment software (And while you're at it - set it up as a silent install)

If you can find the corporate links to it, then you can download them and put them onto CD's. Try searching tweakxp.com
