Most of them were graphics cards boxes, so just a little FAIL on their part there.
Most of them aren't really funny, they just try to be cool.
I've owned two of the motherboard ones. The IP-35E and the ABIT "Mainboard" with the golden guy on it. That was back in the Celeron 300a -> 450MHz days!

lol I owned the same box.

Funny part was at the bottom when the author was pointing out ugly GUI's for apps:
