I just came back from the post office and noticed a woman speaking Russian to her little brat that she was holding. I couldn't resist to say something in Russian since I know the language very well since Moscow is my home town. I said hello in Russian and she said hello back and asked me how I knew the language. For some reason I decided to sand-bag my knowledge of it and said that I took two courses in the Russian Language at school. I made alot of mistakes talking to her and spoke very slooowly. She told me that I wasn't too bad and that I have promise. She also spoke to me in English for a while and I put on my fake Southern style accent
She was telling me that for an American, I'm not all that bad at saying the Russian words correctly. We said good-bye to one another and I said good-bye in Russian but did it in a struggling manner. I do this kind of sh*t all the time when ever I run into a fellow Russian *LOL* Do you think this is just fooking weird of me?
