Hex for black is #000000.

But imagine this: that BMW blows by you, then cuts you off and almost hits you. You decide to call the cops.

"...yeah, it was a black BMW, license plate... uh... 8... B... uh... nevermind."

They look very similar. From a distance it's probably impossible to tell what the plate says.
