funny character in windows explorer

i'm getting funny characters in windows explorer. Lost all my data in that folder since it won't let me access that folder.

It's called movies2.

I already did a scandisk and chkdsk and it won't fix it. DO you guys think i have a virus?

You may very well have a virus. You might want to run a virus scan just to be sure. I have heard of some viruses that do such things.
