1) Do you support the Patriot Act?
2) Are you against the racial profiling of ME men/women at airports?
3) Are you against the NSA wiretap program?
4) Are you against the existance of Gitmo?
5) Do you honestly believe that habeas corpus has been suspended in the U.S.?
6) Are you against the death penealty?
7) Are you against the monitoring of bank traffic?

how about all of you?

" a simple yes/no will suffic"

No it won't. This gets back to how simple minded conservative are. They love to boil things down to black and white, good and evil. That's not how life works, if you cannot see the shades of grey then you are stupid or just towing the party line which again is stupid. Learn to think and stop making politics into bumper stickers.

1) Most, but not all of it.
2) Yes
3) No, assuming you mean the legal version with FISA warrants. If you don't like FISA then make Congress change it. I'm against the government circumventing it's own laws, aren't we all?
4) Gitmo is fine, it's how you use it that concerns me.
5) Yes
6) Not in principal, but until the bias is out of the system it shouldn't be used.
7) No, not if done legally.

1.) Parts of it.
2.) Sometimes. Though I'm especially against the metal detectors going off on old folks who have hip replacements and the like, and searching them while the sweating nervous-looking guy goes through with the tall turban on his head, where anything could be hidden.
3.) I'd be for it if it required a warrant like it used to.
4.) I'm against the use of torture in international areas, just to get around United States law
5.) Yes. To the extent that it's been used against the American people is questionable, but we're on the slippery slope.
6.) Yes. There is absolutely no point, and studies have shown that it actually costs more in legal fees to kill someone than just keep them in maximum security prison all their life. Plus, if it's not 100% accurate, then it should not exist.
7.) Domestically, yes. Internationally? No.

Just so you know, simple yes/no answers are a cop-out.

Truth hurts, but those are oversimplified mis-characterizations. Even an 80 IQ repug can see that.

Looking at daveys and other responses, mmm, don't think so....

Actually that could be the standard for the average repug ;)

One would think, yes. Look at their leader.... ;)

1) Not all of it, just the less useful and/or more intrusive portions of it. There ARE some good ideas there, however.

2) Yes, please note that this doesn't mean I'm against ALL profiling, I just happen to think racial based profiling is a crude, ineffective and offensive way to do profiling.

3) Not at all, I'm all in favor of listening to terrorist phone conversations (and email exchanges, IM chats, etc), I'm just not in favor of doing it in the US without a warrant.

4) Not at all, I'm against some of the activities that seem to go on down there, but clearly we need a prison facility for terrorism suspects, and Gitmo is a safe location for a number of reasons.

5) Yes, at least with regards to certain groups of people.

6) Nope.

7) Nope, but again, if it involves warrantless spying on Americans (for any reason) I'm against those particular activities. My understanding is that no such thing is happening, so I'm fine with it for the moment.

8) Yes.

Of course a litmus test for a joke that largely misses the point is kind of silly, but I'll play along :)

It's a political cartoon meant to overimplify and blatently make a point. Even a democrat with an IQ of 50 can see that.

The IQ of the average democrat is 50. HAHAHA. Let's all high-five each other and feel superior now!

lol. I bet you people share comments like that at work. "hehe. So I was on this message board and implied that repugs have an average IQ of 80. *snicker* *snort*"

You people crack me up sometimes. Now run along children and have fun. Remember, don't run with scissors.
