Ishtar is seriously one of the funniest movies ever. Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty are two really really terrible songwriters but don't know it. Somehow they get invovled in a North African revolution.

"Move the camel. Move the camel."

It's not slapstick Jim Carrey stuff...it's subtle and intelligent and beyond underrated.

There's NO way somebody can watch that movie and think it's terrible. It's pure politics. The writer of that movie had just come off a huge success and everybody wanted her to fall, so they made up their minds before even seeing it.

One of the top 3 comedies ever.
