Funniest show on tv

Asking which current TV show is the funniest is like asking which pile of crap smells the best. TV has changed so much in the last 20 years it is no longer "funny" nor entertaining.

My choice for funniest is the re-broadcasting of old B-rated 1950s sci-fi movies.

Soo many good ones ...

but probably it's always sunny in philidelphia, or the league.

EDIT : If we're going world wide ... I.T. Crowd is epic, as well as The Peep show...I cannot get enough of the peep show, HILAROUS.

Parks & rec is amazing. It's the only show I can think of where the first season was such pure garbage and seemingly deserved to be canceled but the second season and beyond have been hysterical!

Anyone who answers in a fashion other than The League has Dreids. May Mr. McGibblets come and cleaver your soul. All hail the Shiva!

Community is also pretty great.

I've yet to find one of the "sit-coms" that is worth watching. Most are more stupid than funny.
Watched the pilot episode of Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen last night. Not so good either. Seems like they were trying to hard to make "ooh-ooh-ooh...me man!" jokes.

Yeah, Tosh.0 or Always Sunny.

Always Sunny makes me literally yell "W..T..F????" at the screen every episode. Those writers are brilliant but obviously a little deranged.

I'd have to say Community, which is certainly the cleverest and most unique, but with any one episode it could be surpassed by Parks and Rec or Modern Family.

Last year I would have said Modern Family, hands down. But I think it's remained in place while the other two have continued to get even better.

One that I haven't heard mentioned here on AT but that I've taken a liking to is Happy Endings. The writing is often excellent, and the cast is great. All three female leads do a great job: Casey Wilson, Elisha Cuthbert, and Eliza Coupe.

I like Happy Endings (partially because I'm Max IRL) but it drags on occasion.

I'm not sure Dexter is supposed to be funny 😕

Some of the funniest shows on television aren't "supposed" to be funny...The Sopranos was funny as hell...IF you looked at it like a "dark comedy," which is how it was actually written.
IMO, many of the "dramas" currently on television are more comedic than dramatic.

"It's just you and me now Reggie, now be a lad and put on some Mingus."

oh and:

"Sir, that stolen lemur bit one of your prostitutes right in the face and she says she can't go to hospital because she's quote, tripping balls."
