A Columbian goalie once punted the ball out of the box and it bounced over the Polish goalie into the net - A ridiculous goal!

I wonder if he was hailed a victor for that move...

the guy's name was andres escobar, if i remember correctly. he went to a bar and was shot 12 times by three people. he was the reason columbia lost against the u.s. 2-1, i think it was.... he accidentally deflected a crossed ball and the keeper never had a chance.
 
the fastest goal on record, i believe, is an australian goal.... at kick-off, they touched the ball off and player who received the touch shot it at the goal... the keeper couldn't run back in time to knock the ball away. it was a 4 second goal or something.... first 4 seconds of the match.

Oh man, I didn't even realize that. I am not a big soccer follower, plus I laughed too hard to catch that.

Anywho, I renig my comparison of what he did to what I said about the fatty at the bar by modifying it to say that in the end the fatty turns you down.

New theory: Oldsmobat's Law has been the cause of such low occurances of threads in which Oldsmobat's Law was proven correct. People are actually caring about incorrectly posting unfunnay links.
