Funnest 3 player Card Games

Flux. The game it great and it has many decks that can be used alone or mixed in with other decks.

What is the trick to Flux? Whenever we've tried to play, we cannot prevent the rules from quickly going to, say, "play 6 cards, draw 5 cards" and when it's your turn the only possible move is to lay down your entire hand and then spending a couple minutes sorting out the new rules before the next player also lays down his entire hand.

Are expansion decks a must to lower the frequency of rule change cards?

Either rage:

Or munchkin although it's not a normal card game.

+1 for Munchkin, although I prefer Zombies.

That's kinda the point to Flux.

Munchkin
Monopoly card game (it pretty simple and plays fast)
Race for the Galaxy (steep learning curve)
San Juan (similar to Race but easier to pick up)
Loot

How the hell can people like Munchkin? It is pile on the leader and hope everybody runs out of screw cards when you try to get level 10. That is the ENTIRE strategy.

Tichu is a great card game, we play 3 player with a dummy hand dealt off to the side to keep it unknown. This can easily be played with a full deck of cards (with 4 wilds/extras).

And your point is? 😉

It's very fun and it sounds like someone died when they were level 9 and got hit with multiple dragons. :awe:

Muchkin quickly loses its charm once you know all the cards.

Also it stops being fun once you figure out how hideously unbalanced it is.

Way back in college I spent hours playing a game called Three Corner Rat F*ck but I don't have the slightest idea today what the rules were. The game could stay in balance for hours but once you started losing you were screwed, thus the name.

Good for pumping up the blood pressure.

Buh, win or lose, the game is mind numbingly easy. Only try for level 10 when you think the opponents are out of screwage.

I don't see how something that brainless is fun, but then again people really liked flappy birds.
