FryDaddy

3 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
powered sugar

beat eggs + vanilla
slowly beat in sugar until thick
slowly mix in milk
sift together dry ingredients and add to egg mixture
may need to adjust milk/flour to make runny enough to pour
fry and top with powder sugar

end result

Cliffs:
1. FryDaddy
2. Make Funnel Cakes
3. Enjoy

You know, an hour's drive in the sleet is 100% worth it for funnel cakes

U gotta quit with the food threads, lol

My wife limits me to once a week with my new toy, so you'll be getting weekly updates until I get a heart attack from it

Check out the fryer in my OP, $17! I used this recipe for fried ice cream:

http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/...,148177-253195,00.html

Two tips:

1. Put more than 1 or 2 coats on, the more coated the less likely the skin is to come off while frying

2. FREEZE WELL between each coat. It slides off while cooking if you don't. I got impatient and did it too soon the first time. Do a few coats and then freeze overnight. You can store a bunch if you make them ahead of time, then just cook them whenever you want.

I've actually lost weight from this...I rarely eat out now and make almost all of my food at home. It tastes better and it's better for you...even when I make treats like funnel cakes, it doesn't contain any preservatives or other processed ingredients, so it's not as bad as eating it elsewhere.
