Say I order a 500 USD item, the company places a 'hold' charge on my account, which I then see in the Pending transactions of my online banking. Suppose I have 700 USD in the account, with the 500 USD pending, so 200 USD showing as available. Then, I release that it was the wrong item and I cancel the order before it can be shipped. How long should it take for that 'hold' charge to disappear and my all the funds to be listed as available again?
 
As long as they take the hold off before 3:00pm should get back after midnight. Credit unions are usually another day or two. (Bof A myself)
