fundamental frequency in irrational spectrum

doh, as i am studying through the lecture slides, there is something about irrational spectrum. unfortunately it doesnt explain how to go about it and just says there is a special relationship(?!). i must have missed it out as i havnt skipped any classes or anything. to my frustation textbook and googling didntt seem to help much.

so my question is :

is there a way to find fundamental frequency with irrational frequencies in the spectrum of a combined sinusoidal signal with different frequency components?
i.e. x(t) = 5 + cos(2*pi*(3^0.5)*6*t+0.5*pi) + cos(2*pi*15*t)
f in the first cos is (3^0.5)*6 (irrational), in the second one it is 15

i am still googling at the moment, lets hope i find it before someone else replies 🙂

"If either the carrier or modulator frequency is an irrational number, then the spectrum will be inharmonic."
but i am not sure if this is applicable to the signal in quesiton here. the lecture slides imply there is something you can do about it by manipulating 'a special relationship' with another rational signal (or thats the impression i got from reading it anyway)
