Fund one paypal payment with 2 sources?

I have a credit card with a free credit on it for doing a test drive. If I send a payment to someone (ebay), can I fund part of it with all of the credit card's credit, then fund what ever is remaining for the price of the item, with my bank account or my regular CC that's on file with paypal?

Makes sense. As long as they allow that type of card and are able to verify my address through the CC company, but I dont see why they couldn't.

A similar but different question: I can't just add funds to my paypal account from a CC can I? It's only showing I can do that from a checking account. Seems like I would have to me making a payment to someone. Kind of like you can't just add funds to your bank from a credit card, can you?
BTW, my paypal account is a personal account.

You can't add funds from a CC. If you want those funds in your account, your best bet is to send someone a payment funded by the CC, for the amount you want deposited, and then have them send it back to you.

I'd be glad to help if you want.

You can transfer the money from your bank account in. Then, when you go to make the payment it will take what you currently have in your PayPal account then ask you for the method by which to make up the difference. Use the credit card for that. That should do what you need.

Which is the same is just making a payment to someone funded with the CC, already discussed, right? Not sure why you say to add money from a bank account.

Tried making a payment with it, but it won't let me only choose a certain amount to withdraw from the credit card. It's actually a debit card, even though it has to be charged like a credit card, and only has a certain amount on it. It will only let me put the whole payment on it, or the whole remainder of the payment after taking out from a paypal balance I have.
