Fun with Google

I once canceled a video card order from a Canadian e-store because a few minutes after I made the transaction, I got a bounced e-mail back from the store's mail server. Their inbox was full, apparently. What really caught my eye is that they transmitted my credit card # via e-mail.

Called them up, yelled at them some, they meekly canceled the transaction. I just wish I remembered the name of the store.

I think Google is really the precursor of SkyNet.

Soon it will know everything and have no further use for mankind.

Put your own card number in and search 🙂
Mine turned up nothing.
Is that safe?.....

Unless google records search terms and puts them in a website :/

But the card expires this October, and it's a debit card with a whole £3> in it, so it's not a big issue.
No money, plus expiry soon = no real problem.

sounds like a bad idea to me
I searched for mine 😱 and then thought about it, and remembered a post from someone here that had visited Google headquarters and said that there were screens scrolling Google queues.. lol

Didn't come up with anything, though.. lol

But like, now IE knows my CC# because autocomplete is on. Can that data be mined if you get hax0r3d?

:frown:
