would not mind getting the info myself...

i am an EE major, and well, due to the nature of the program i am in, i have not had the opportunity to do any of the basic labs.

not that i am lost, but i am doing opamps now without any experience in any EE lab dealies. i learn quick though... =)

Do you have a signal generator? If so you can hook up a resistor and LED with a low frequency (sp?) and watch it flash....

i dont have a function generator, power source, or a scope... i have a fairly firm foundation for intermediate stuff... hoping to be able to use a DC source (eg 9v battery)... could get access to EE lab if push comes to shove, but....

oscilloscopes would be useless if you didn't have a function generator :)

edit: in this case.

Probably the most basic signal generator you could make is a ring oscillator... sure you couldn't just flip a switch to change frequencies, and the function isn't too useful, but hey, it'd drive an LED. :D

Seems like a promising site. I don't know what you're interested in doing but this might give you a few ideas.
