Last night while playing a rousing match of Team Slayer with some friends in Ivory Tower, we were getting smoked by a bunch of 13 year olds with high pitched giggles. Yep, I hate how they're so much better than me now too. Anywho, they were all camping out on the top of the elevator, just waiting for us to say hello. They had the three best weapons on that level (Shotgun, Sword, and Rocket Launcher) so we were definately at a disadvantage.

Using the entertaining 'crouch' feature so I wouldnt show up on radar, I snuck up slowly to the top of the stairs, where one of them was perched looking over the edge... completely oblivious to my presence. I whispered "BOO" into my microphone, just before taking the butt of my machine gun and smashing his camping brains out. It felt good, even though we still lost 🙂

Any fun moments that you would like to share?
 
have not played past level 2, probably wont continue because of lack of time. the whole game seems so far to be mostly cinematic scenes, they should have just went ahead and just made it into a computer animated movie.
 
i am in 7th grade and my freinds and i were playing a bunch of old guys last nite on ivory tower. we where camping out at the top of teh elevator but they were to smart for us. ONe of the old dudes snuck up on me and hit me in the back of the head adn he thougth it was cool.

he kiled me then but my friends and me still won teh match. they realy suxed. 😉

I played online once, and ended up getting 3rd place, first time playing the game (i had to try the online play before i tried the game.. lol)
 
It's not fun for me. I was a competitive Halo PC player, but they just compeltely changed the multiplayer dynamic. The only thing I like about it is actually the gimps. For example, the destructible vehicles. Homing rockets take the fun out of the launcher in multiplayer. The fuel rod is actually some semblance of a balance weapon now, with reloads required. However, 90% of the skill in Halo and Halo PC was the pistol, and mid-range combat. This is virtually non-existant in Halo 2, since its a lot easier to just rush a guy with dual DMG's and blow him away. I could see the 3-round burst battle rifle being fun for a PC port, but it's just too unwieldy for me on a controller.
