beer. there are a number of breweries/brewpubs in the area. get to drinking.

im not sure that raleigh is really known to be "fun" but heres the visitor sight

there should be some concerts and shows in and around the area throughout summer, check ticketmaster, the rbc center, etc

id say sports, but...its summer so college sports in the area arent really going on and the professional team in town failed to make the playoffs because they suck. /lets go canes

go to the pit for bbq, i still have yet to go but hear its great
