Fun game for manual drivers.

Well maybe not so fun but I do it anyway. When you're coming up to lights or any stop and it's on a hill when you're finally out of gear or the clutch is in and you're almost stopped let off on the brakes to let the hill bleed away any remaining speed (don't hit any cars in front of you!). Now for the fun part: your goal is to re-engage the brakes quickly at the exact moment that your have zero forward and zero backward momentum. The trick is so that you're able to hit the brakes hard with absolutely no jolt in the car because you have no speed whatsoever. It's much harder than you think!

Sweet! I'm not the only one. I've been doing it for a long time and a week ago was the first time I got it right, but since then I haven't been able to. I always hit too late!

I'll have to give this a go! I live on a hill, so that makes it nice and easy to try every time i go out 😉

Just sue the car company they have more money, and the should have warned you not to try this.

I've never tried it. Maybe I will some time. I bet it's pretty hard to get right, as it has to be perfectly timed.

I've tried that.. hard!!!
I like to never use the brakes at stop lights. always clutch and gas to maintain position.. that's one thing i practice regularly 😛

Hmm, the community college I used to go to was on top of a big hill so I could have tried this. Now my drive has no stops on any hills. Have to wait till I go somewhere with a stop on a hill to try this.

I've been doing this since I got my first car. Figured I was the only one dumb enough to try it! Good to know I'm not alone!
