fun, cheap stuff to do in Dallas?

I'm off work for a couple weeks while I get settled in and moved into Dallas. I'll need something to pass the time. Can someone make some suggestions? As I said I'm off work which means no money coming in so I'm looking for cheap places to go and check out.

Any suggestions?
 
Ck out the DMA The Dallas Museum of Art.

Go hang out around West End and see all the weird stuff in the shops in Deep Ellum.
Great town to just walk around in whenever I get down there. Usually can always find something to do even if I'm low on fundage.
