Pocketbike!! Well, its a midbike technically, I believe its a 43cc X1. It was at an estate auction a few blocks from my house on Sunday. My kid gave the auctioneer and everyone around puppydog eyes so no one bid against me. I got it for $25.00. Came home, cleaned out the fuel tank, cleaned the carb, set it to factory specs (from what I found online), reattached the bottom faring, and tuned the high speed jet so that it runs good.
My oldest son has been tearing it up and down the road (with helmet of course). I'm going to take it out to a deserted parking lot tonight and let him really have fun with it. I had to buy a brake lever since one was broken off, and the windshield is missing, but for under $40.00 total so far, its been a lot of fun. I also lubed and loosened the chain a bit and need to check to see if it has a 2 speed transmission. I know literally nothing about these pocketbikes. I've been running it at about 32:1 but it calls for 20:1. I'm using opti 2 stroke oil though so it should be fine.
Also picked up a lawnboy bricktop for $5.00 with bagger and chute that only needed gas.
