Well, this summer I'll be a counselor for kids entering K-2 and 1st grade....anyone know any icebreakers i can play with them or fun projects?

yeah i already have duck duck goose but I'm also looking for more educational games, and actually our camp does have a van! and we will be going camping with it :)

Tell them that the purpose of life is to DIE DIE AND DIE A HORRIBLE PAINFUL MISERABLE DEATH.

Otherwise, just give 'em something to color. They usually love coloring.

You could glue them to a giant piece of construction paper. Or make them build a giant monument to your greatness....

box of mystery. You put something with weird texture (yet safe!) in a box and have them stick their hand in and touch it. Then they can guess what it is. For example, jello made with a little too much water.
