Full x16 lanes times two?

Can the Asus P5W DH run both PCI Express slots at x16 bandwidth? Not crossfired, SLI'd, just two video cards with two DVI outs on each card to run 4 LCD monitors.

No, 975X has 16 PCI-E lanes for gfx so that's either 1x16 or 2x8.

Thanks. Which route would give me better video performance to drive 4 - 19" Samsung SyncMaster 940B monitors (DVI)? Find a good board with 4 PCI-X slots and run 4 video cards, Asus makes one at x8, x8, x4, x8 ( http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813131047) I think the x4 slot runs through the southbridge. Or find a good mobo with 2 x16 slots which both can run at x16 and put a video card with two dvi outs in each x16 slot? Intel Core 2 Duo build, 6700. I have to run 4 monitors for my financial programs, but I still want it to be the best it can currently be.

tbh dual x8 isn't a problem except perhaps if you are running something like 8800s

So, If I get eVGA 680i mobo, with a couple of 7950GT video cards, not in SLI or crossfire (to run 4 monitors), will both cards be using x16 lanes?
