Full video-on-demand PayTV in US?

Hey ppl,
Just asking, do you fellas have any sort of video-on-demand (ie. like in hotel rooms) PayTV system over there? In other words, can you opt to watch a long lost movie, or the latest news bulletin at say, 11:13 at night?
