Anyone else think Full Tilt Poker is rigged?

I've never seen so many suck outs in my life.

I'm on the button, holding A3, guy left of BB limps, table folds, I raise 3x BB, SB and BB fold, he calls.
Flop shows 2-4-5, rainbow board. He checks, I bet 500, he calls.
Turn shows K. He raises, I go all in, he calls.

He turns over K2.

River shows a K giving him a full house.

How disgusting is that? I flop a straight and he hits runner runner Ks.

Sigh, FTP is so rigged.

Another example.

I am in 3rd position holding AA. I raise 3x BB, table folds and button calls. SB and BB fold. Flop shows 10-Q-7. I bet, button goes all in and I call.

Turns out the idiot was holding 10-7. Sigh...

I put my chips in with the best hand and lose. So sick.

Yes, I was aware of that. That's simply disgusting. However, I don't think FTP is rigged like that though.

It's just disgusting how many suckouts I see every day when I play.

Play money?

Unfortunately, no. With play money I've gone all in with any 2 cards just for kicks. This happened in a ring game.

Watch the PPT. "Suck outs" happen all the time. That's just one of the risks to not ending that Run at the Flop.

Possible...yes.

Likely...no.

If you are playing low limits...like 1/2 2/5 and so forth...you have no need to worry

I think that some of the sites are rigged but in a different way. This may sound crazy, but I think it would be easy to program the software so that the biggest depositors receive the benefit of having better hands loaded based on their table position. This doesn't give anyone an advantage of knowing anyone else's cards, it just makes it easier for them to win. Additoinally it would be impossible to prove that this occurs at all.

All poker sites have bad suckouts that occur more often than at a "real game." Ive found pokerstars to be the worst.

I would like to see stats please.

Many people think this is true because of how often you play hands online. You play so many more hands in an hour online than you do when you play in real life, so yeah, in an hour you will get sucked out a lot more online than you would playing in real life. Its human nature to remember all those SICK SUCKOUTS that everyone got on you, and then somehow forget all the times you played a hand that ended with no suckout, or even you sucking out on them...

If you're playing for play chips or low stakes real money a lot of players will call anything. I played recently in the Daily Fifty Grand on Poker Stars. It cost $50 + $5 to enter. I had actually won an entry by finishing in the top 5 in a free roll with 10,000 entrants. From what I could tell while playing is that losing that amount of money meant little or nothing to most of the people playing. After the blinds got relatively large players were just buying pots with large raises. If you weren't catching hole cards you would ordinarily play you would be forced to either call or raise at some point and take your chances. The large number of bad beats has made the online game into a luck/skill game instead of a skill/luck game. You're going to have to have a lot of luck to win. Of course you can always play on the low stakes tables where the blinds never increase and fold every hand when you don't have anything.

hehe, ya, I've seen way too many players who just Raise or Call/Raise every hand. Kinda sucks if you just want to see a Flop, but if you start with a good 2 Cards the payoff gets decent. Makes it difficult to get a good feel for the game at a higher level though.

Thats how you play poker man. When blinds get big, people have less bbs, and thus need to make moves to survive. If you wait till you have no money left for the perfect hand it won't matter if you win or lose. When the blinds are big its worth raising, or taking a risk to try and steal the blinds to make another orbit. With online tourneys..I agree the blinds go up too fast and at the end it becomes somewhat of a crap shoot...but with 1000+ entrants into any given MTT its the only way to do it unless you think everyone has time to like a 12-24 hour tourney...which they don't.

Yes, suck outs are part of poker. You'll just have to live with it. Last week in a cash game, I flopped a net straight. The flop was 6c7c10h and I had 8,9 unsuited. The pre-flop riser bet the size of the pot ($40) and I smooth called and then 3rd player went ALL IN $165 on a flush draw. Next the pre-flop riser went ALL IN with around $500 on his pair of Kings since he knew the 3rd player is a very lose player and he was on some sort of a draw. And he probably thought I can't call his ALL IN rise but I quickly called with the rest of my $395. The turn came a 7h and then river came a Kc which gave the pre-flop riser a full house.:Disgust;:| After that hand, I didn't win another pot for the rest of the night.

wow, that sucks lol. I mean you have to call there unless you really are concerned about losing the money, in which case you really shouldn't be playing with it.....

Not hand after hand to the point that certain Players should just throw in a bunch of chips prior to the Deal. :D

Whiny children remember their bad beats more than the hands that hold form. That's all the stats you're going to get. The only thing more pathetic than a poker player crying over a bad beat is a poker player crying over a bad beat for play money.

You're right, if I didn't call with that hand I might as well not gamble.
