Full Test: 2006 Lexus IS 350 @ Edmunds

Simply by looks alone on exterior & the interior, much improvement over the previous generation IS.

I don't agree about the exterior looking better than the previous gen, but I do like the drivetrain.

BMW still doesn't have anything to fear as long as the electronic nannys are present in the current IS series.

I'm almost HOPING that when Lexus releases the 6-speed stick version of the IS350 that they will have the option to turn that sh!t off.

IS-1
IS-2
IS-3

They won't. Even MB won't allow all the gizmos to turn off.

Probably why I'll never own a lexus. They're on the black list next to Toyota😉

Everytime I look at the new IS and the new GS, it gives me the impression that the car is sqinting like a person would do to focus on something. I think it looks funny/retarded. To me, the lines of the IS300 are refined, yet still agressive.

Oooh...I'm currently debating which car I'm going to get next...IS350, G35 and the 330 are all on the list.

I like the BMW. 10 years down the line or even 5, the BMW will still look great. Whenever I look at a 10 year old BMW it's still a looker, I can't say the same though for a 10 year old Infiniti or Lexus.
