What Works:
Powerful supercharged engine, nimble handling, kickin' stereo, cool-looking Recaro seats.

What Needs Work:
Numb steering, imprecise shifter, ridiculous rear wing.

Bottom Line:
Chevy finally has a sport compact that can give the imports a run for their money, and it's got the giant wing to prove it.

Yeah, that is good stuff. I really do hope that this becomes a bit of a hit for GM. Bob Lutz needs some support. I think he is taking the company in the right direction, but his work at Pontiac really hasn't yeilded them much.

It actually doesn't look that bad. Interior looks much better than any interior I've ever seen on a Chevy.

Well, at least the wing on the STi and the Evo are functional...they actually do provide beneficial downforce. Not sure about the SRT-4.

Yeah it should be a bit quicker. Methinks the person who tested it wasn't very good, since the SRT4 should be able to beat 6.3 seconds 0-60 also.

The Ion does it in 6.3. So with each review a car will be faster or slower based on driver and the track
