I think it's too little too late, and this pretty much sums it up (especially with an as-tested price of 32,000):

Features, innovations and good looks propel this truck to the top of its class. However, with redesigns coming from Dodge, Nissan and Toyota, the Colorado is apt to come up short in power and interior room.

I'm looking at this truck now and I am very temped to buy seeing how my current truck is 10 yrs old. The price is pretty steep compared to some of the other brands but I like the gas mileage it offers among other things :) I didn't know the others were up for redesign, thanks for that link I'll wait it out now.

Anyone know if the Ford Ranger is getting a redo anytime soon?

Also I?m pretty temped by the full size trucks, the cost difference at least between the Colorado Crew Cab & Full size Ext Cab is nothing really and mileage is 2-4 MPG. I want a set of 4 doors though and that?s were the costs really go up between the two along with mileage.

Does anyone here own the Colorado or GMC Canyon with some impressions they'd like to share?

Former roommate was gonna purchase this but he went with a Monte Carlo SS instead.
