Full Test: 2004 Cadillac XLR

NFS4

No Lifer
Ups: Eye-catching design, forgiving ride quality, hardtop convenience, nearly every feature is standard.

Downs: Interior doesn't always reflect the price, not as sporty as its Corvette underpinnings might suggest, minimal cargo space, can be cramped for taller drivers.

The Bottom Line: Its design makes it stand out from the crowd, but its performance and craftsmanship aren't quite as extraordinary.

LOL, it ain't THAT bad 🙂
all Cadillacs look like crap, some crappier then others but crap is still crap no matter how you cut it
I could be worse. Could be a Nissan/Infinity design. 😉

(Sorry NFS, I just couldn't resist it.)

Could be worse, could look like this.

I like the minimal wood, just hints of it here and there. Understated is something caddy doesn't normally do well.

Priceless! 😀 Well played.

My 'teener's for sale though. Moving and won't have space to tinker. 🙁

The new Caddies have actually grown on me. I still like Lincoln's designs and concepts more, but the Caddies aren't striking me as ugly now. Still too "avant garde" for my taste though.

😀

i think that car looks good.

new caddy designs are pretty decent - much better than the utter crap they had ~4-5yrs ago

It's certainly more eye catching than the powderpuff Lexus roadster. That thing is just ugly beyond belief.
