Full Test: 2003 Volvo XC90

my parents loved it... they went to el toro marine air base to test drive it (kind of like the mazdarevitup thing except by appointment or something) and they got to push the car to the limits... according to them it handled like a charm, very comfortable, and all that good stuffs

looks pretty good for a jacked up station wagon. not as good as the x5 but they appeal to different people (since the x5 is a beast)

The C&D review of it wasn't too glowing. Interior was rated as Darth-vader friendly with amount of plastic and the ride was soggy and nothing to write about. Yeah but it should be safer than many SUVs on the road. Germans SUVs have it beat in that category too though...

Safety is so ingrained into Volvo's image that it could offer a detachable sidecar made of cardboard for its vehicles and most customers probably wouldn't think twice about hopping in.
It would probably have side and curtain airbags too. 😀
