what size towers do you guys run? I've got a mid-sized right now, but in short order I will be purchasing the second batch of parts for a new computer, and would like a concensus of what people use...

I am running server towers. Lian-Li PC-70. They have lots of room and look way cool. If you have $200.00 to drop, get one.

Chieftec Scorpio TA10-BLD Black Server Tower.
Very, very big. Pictures dont do the size justice.

I use an Antec 1080 AMG and love it. I used to use a mid tower, but it was too cramped and cooling was a problem. Plus the 1080 AMG has a great front fan filter that is removable and washable

I like the roominess of full towers. Its much easier to work with. Though they may be heavier if your not using aluminum cases. And i agree with johnbear on the filter for the 1080. It is useful but can increase temps if you dont clean it out.

If you are going to be getting one of these all in one motherboards such as the asus a7n8x then a mid tower is just fine. The only expansion card I could see anyone needing for normal use is a video card. Even a mid-tower isn't cramp. I would go for the case that you truly want if looks are a concern.

HA like all those cases are like the same thing just different faces/manufactures besides the llian li case I just got a chenming/cheiftec dragon full tower I love it very roomy and great window. the case temp is about 4C lower than my previous mid tower. tool less is nice I have an a7n8x dlx and I still like it better with the bigger case. The cramping was never with PCI cards I didn't think mostly the molex connectors and IDE cables for me.

I find full sized towers to be large and loud... and obnoxious. And I have 1080. It's had over $300 sunk into it by now....

My backup server is in a Q500 full tower. My main rig is a Coolermaster 201C-SX2 which gets moved from time to time. The Q500 is just too much of a hassle to move. :)

I just got one of those Chyang Fun cases that Newegg was blowing out this week. Mid tower 11 drive bays, gobs of room inside and built like a tank.
. Sorry none left. Nya, nya, etc...
