Hi,

I was wondering if any one uses a really BIG computer case.

It seems like it would make building a rig easier in a lot of ways.

Corsair Obsidian 800D. Pretty expensive, but a very large case. Excellent build quality and cable management.

The building process in any case isn't terribly difficult. The challenge begins when you're trying to arrange your cables in a nice and neat manor. There are several cases that boast "excellent cable management", but I don't think I've seen anything better than the 800D.

Here's a couple snaps of my rig (specs in sig):

After I was done building it, I felt like I was forgetting several other components, just because of how neat and orderly everything was with almost no effort put into the cable management.

That's a very nice case but $400.00 plus dollars is a lot of jack!

Years ago, there were these big full size towers and everyone made snarky comments about how they were ugly.

I need to build a rig to power my high-def Catleap monitor and I already have a GTX480 that I bought before I acquired same monitor. I don't know if I should get another GTX480 and go sli or just buy a newer, more powerful single card.

In any case, these video cards are big and more room would be nice.

I have the old v2000, I like it a lot.. aluminum makes it very light, it was 2-300 I think, it look like those mac server.. What I like about these big cases is amount of drives it can hold.. 12 drives :)

Thermaltake Level 10 Snow Edition here. Very nice case, cools internals very well, but it does need a modular PSU to take advantage of reduced cable clutter. There is just no place to hide the extra PSU cables on mine.
