Hi Guys, does anyone know of a wireless KB for a desktop that "feels" like a laptop KB? That is, soft and silent keys? I have a logitech that I paid very good money for and the keys sort of "stick". Any recos?

TIA

Can't you warranty the Logitech scissor-action keyboard? I don't think they've been out for more than 2 years...?

Apple keyboards. I have a mini one and I love the feel and the chicklet island keys. Unlike every keyboard I've owned, this one doesn't fill up with crumbs (because of the island design).

The worst-feeling scissor-action keyboards on the market IMO. Bad even for touch typists with the really unyielding landing - and for crabbies and hammerers, just a really quick route to RSI. Like anything Apple, form over function for those who don't have enough experience (or just too much of an Applezombie) to realise otherwise. I use Macally keyboards on the Macs, and you can pick up equivalent scissor-action keyboards for Windows too.

The OP did mention wireless, and the Apple wireless is even crappier since it feels so clattery in use.

I'd recommend the Logitech illuminated for a widely available scissor-action wired, but I can't quite work out if that's what the OP has - it defo shouldn't 'stick'.

If wired isn't an issue, there's also the Lenovo wired keyboard of course: http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c..._menu_area=yes

'major league maker' wireless scissor-action option:

There are tons more - it depends on what you want.

It's not scissor-action. Still a regular dome keyboard. I like it quite a lot, but as a typing keyboard I still prefer scissor-action. Just not Apple's godawful examples.

Go with Logitech Illuminated, it's great. Doesn't stick and it's illuminated with a nice white light, non-intrusive and non eye fatiguing.
Keys feel great, it can take abuse (I have a little baby girl so I know abuse :) ). I wouldn't change this keyboard for any other right now. I don't know if the switches are scissors, but they feel great.
