I'm trying to record online training sessions for some rather complex software my company is implementing in a few months. Given we have second and third shifts, it would be more convenient for us to play-back the sessions at our convenience. I've downloaded several utilities to do this, such as Wincapture, and they work fairly well.
The problem is playback. Our training sessions are at 1024x768 because the software has that limit, and I can't go lower. While I can record the session with decent fidelity, playback is at a much lower screen resolution, which results in illegible text and menus.
I'm assuming this is a limitation with the codec being used, but I'm not an expert in such things. Is it even possible to record a full 1024x768 screen and play it back native? Any advice on software?
