Full screen mode for google maps iOS

Google maps iOS 2.0
Go to street view. As the menu bar at the top disappears by fading out upwards, tap the back arrow quickly. It may take a few tries but when you return to map view you will be full screen (status bar with clock and battery gone)

Also you can type "ok maps" into the search box to cache view for (about 50 sq miles max) offline use


Might work on android too
 
You have to tap the top left and center image of street view repeatedly to get the menu bar to disappear while in streetview, but the back arrow to remain to get it to glitch out
