Full Sail, good school?

I've been considering this place for a while for its incredible facilities, good name, and job placement but not for its tuition. It's a year long course for $35,000 in whatever you go into: sound, film, game design, etc. I think that's a bit high for an associate's. It's in Florida and I'm in Pennsylvania but I've never been further south than Virginia so I don't know anything about it down there. I was considering going there for animation because they are 1 of 2 schools in North America that has a program with Alias|Wavefront about Maya that is supposed to be superior.

As far as getting in, you only need a High School diploma or GED and the tuition. This is one main reason I'm looking at it because I'm no overachiever but nor am I a dumbass. I really don't want to go to a university or a commuity college but probably something to do with film or entertainment in general.

I thought that this was primo Anandtech material and I'd get a lot of great responses.

It's not that bad of a school, but it didn't appeal to me when I looked at it.

They have 24 hours of classes so you could potentially have class at 2AM.

Also, it's a technical school, so don't expect to learn a lot outside of how to work the software.

I work in graphic design.
we've had 3 employees that got when through the graphic arts at fullsaid, all three regretted it, said it was nowhere worth it. They cram information into your brain and graduate you.
One went through video editing there, also said it was a rip off.
