Full internet access on my ATT Tilt?

I heard there was a third party program out there that gives you full internet access (not mobile internet) similiar to the iPhone's internet browser on other smart phones. I am having trouble finding it. Getting tired of the mobile internet and considering getting rid of it if I am unable to find this program.

I'm currently using an AT&T Tilt with Windows Mobile 6.

...while I am on the topic of other programs for Windows Mobile, anybody know of any other useful ones?

Opera Mini

SPB Pocket Plus is a good program for organizing your start screen.

Opera mini is a good one, but you will have to install a java midlet manager to run it. Personaly, I like opera mobile better. You can try it free for a month, then it's $30. And no matter what Apple tells you, you cant currently get the full internet experience on a mobile device.

As far as good WM programs, it is as varied as people are. Personal faves are TCPMP with flash plugin, which allows you to watch REAL youtube videos, not just the mobile version (iphony cant do that), a multitude of medical programs for work, and games (emulators for almost all consoles and handhelds are avalible, plus tons of games just for WM). Best bet for finding programs you like are any of the many WM/pda forums that are around.

What do you mean by this? You can browse regular Internet screens on an iPhone, scroll around them... in what way isn't this a full internet experience? I thought the Nokia N95 that a co-worker has does a good job on internet browsing too. I'm perfectly happy reading nytimes.com, or forums.anandtech.com on my iPhone - it works fine. How is this not the full internet experience? No Flash? The screen is too small?

Nope.

This is why the iPhone is currently in the elite status for browsing. You don't get near the experience that Safari offers. Pocket IE is junk on Windows Mobile. QVGA and slow processors FTL too.

Iphone's 600mhz+ ARM processor is bearable for what Safari is offering right now. But there's still more to go.

pm you should try using a Windows Mobile device.

A co-worker was showing off his "Wing" this morning to me - it's Window's Mobile. It is neat. I was a bit put off by all the menus he had to click through to do stuff and it's GPRS-only, but... on the plus side, it's unlocked by T-Mobile, was way cheaper, he had better access to the underlying filesystem, good 3rd party software, slide out keyboard... it's a very nice phone. In fact, since my iPhone's been giving me problems, I'm regretting my decision a bit and have been thinking that I should have spent more time looking at the Wing.

The only thing that I haven't liked about any of the phones except the N95 and the iPhone is the size of the screen. surfing the net and watching movies, you get spoiled by the size of the screen.

Not putting words in his mouth, but I bet he is talking about the lack of Flash. The experience is a bit crippled by the fact that I can't stream any video or high quality audio (Edge) and even if I had 3G I can't use Flash.

That being said, I have a Tilt and an iPhone. I would never try to surf with the Tilt. The iPhone is in a whole different class of browsing.
