Ok, I am running a P4 2.8c, Radeon 9800 Pro, Abit IC7-G. I own 2 cases, currently running my brand new Antec Sonata, but I have my old Thermaltake Xaser III here too. Can I do this?
* Zalmann Fanless PSU
* Fanless CPU HS
* Fanless GPU cooler
* Replace Northbridge fan/HS combo with HS only
* Install second 120mm fan in Sonata case, and have both fans only turn on if things heat up? (What controller will have them silent until a certain temp?)
I do only basic usage, but sometimes I do get into gaming (Halo, Doom 3, Farcry, etc.), I realize each of these fanless components are good on their own, but can I combine like that? I'm going for uber-silence and have never done this, but I don't want to compromise performance.
