I recently got some "real" hosting. My host gave me 2 DNS servers / IPs. Now I don't know what to do.

I took those two dns servers and put them in godaddy under domain registration change nameservers..

It said it was an error.....

Can someone explain how this works?

Not really a Hardware question, more like a Networking, but this might help:

Your hosting company probably also has a FAQ / Knowledge Base article on what to do, and maybe a forum with other users.

Also, typically you have to do 2 things:
* enter the mapping from domain name to IP address in the nameservers (your hosting company probably has a form to do this)
* tell GoDaddy the domain name or IP address of those nameservers
