Please confirm if i understand this correctly:
If the ethernet port is 1gbE, then:
Full duplex: max 1gbps download + max 1gbps upload at the same time so max 2gbps at the same time.
Half duplex: either max 1gbps download or max 1gbps upload at a time...
But what happens when you download and upload at the same time with a half duplex connection through a 1gbE port ? What will the speeds be ? 500mbps download + 500mbps upload , it will be turn based ?
- Running an ethernet cable will give you full duplex.
- Moca will give you half duplex.
