Question Full duplex vs half duplex ?

Please confirm if i understand this correctly:

• Running an ethernet cable will give you full duplex.
• Moca will give you half duplex.

If the ethernet port is 1gbE, then:

Full duplex: max 1gbps download + max 1gbps upload at the same time so max 2gbps at the same time.

Half duplex: either max 1gbps download or max 1gbps upload at a time...

But what happens when you download and upload at the same time with a half duplex connection through a 1gbE port ? What will the speeds be ? 500mbps download + 500mbps upload , it will be turn based ?

If you use moca 2.5 there shouldn't be an issue.
