Istanbul is waiting for earthquake with magnitude 7.0-7.5 and i think 160000 will be died at least. The fault is 10-20 km away from center of Istanbul under marmara sea. Neigbor cities of Istanbul it happened two times izmit 7.4 and Duzce 7.2 at 1999 , 20000 died and i experienced two of them. If such strong earthquake hit Istanbul, there were no Istanbul anymore. Japan know how to live with earthquake they have strong buildings.

Is this true?
