Fujitsu's Crystal View Technology

I've been debating on between an IBM Thinkpad with IPS and a Fujitsu C2310 with Crystal View.

The Fujitsu screen rating is 300 nits.

The Thinkpad screen rating is 200 nits.

BUT...the Thinkpad is contructed better, and IBM's support is top notch.

Has anyone seen an IPS screen? Is 200 nits ok?

Are there other laptops with a screen rating of 300 nits?

Thanks!

The IPS screen is very good imo. I played UT2k4 on it--I noticed some minor (very minor) ghosting when I jerked the mouse back and forth quickly (trying to find out if it woudl ghost). Other than that, the screen is very clear & crisp. Text is beautiful, and the 1400x1050 is ideal for a 14 (or even 15) inch screen. The viewing angle is also very wide (like with my dell 2001fp...i think it's a feature of IPS screens?). And it's plenty bright. I turned the brightness down a little after a while b/c I thought it was a little too bright.

But yeah, the IBM is top notch. I love it...and taht was just my friend's T42. I'll be receiving an identical model anytime now...

EDIT: Note that this kind of thing is VERY subjective. I think IBM's 'flexview' is wonderful. Of course, there are some people who would disagree...there have been some threads here about it. You coudl also check the forums at www.thinkpads.com for more opinions.

Isn't CrystalView just MVA technology? I mean MVA rocks but seriously a lot of manufacters (such as the new Sony's) are moving to this type of display.
