Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to buy some 36g 15k hd's. I'm not sure which are older/newer models...

I have a MAS hd, but I'm seeing some map, mas, and mau models..

Anyone know which is last years and this years models.. I don't want to buy a drive that is too old..

MAU is the latest 15k, MAS is the previous-generation 15k. MAT is the latest 10k if I recall correctly, and MAP is the previous-gen 10k. All except for the MAP* would have fluid bearings.


*MAP has fluid on the highest-capacity model IIRC
