i had a finepix1300 1.3mp everything seems very similar, and I wasnt' real impressed.

now the s110 elph we have at work, now that thing kicks ass.

There are some changes from the old one from what i've read. One notable thing is that the old one didn't have a cover for the lens, the new one has a sliding cover. I'm not really sure if image quality is any better though.

Also, the Powershot S110 Digital Elph Camera's lowest price on pricegrabber is 347. I couldn't find the A101 on pricegrabber, but it was only $160, obviously the two are in a different class.

i never said they were in the same class, nor would I consider any 1.3mp camera now anything more than a toy.

I used to think "for that cheap, its bound to be ok" but I ended up just frastrated with poor image quality.

I would say save up for something else, just my 2 cents though.

For some people this will be a good value, outdoor shots in bright light are great. indoor shots were marginal for me, but this was a problem with hp215 etc... as well.

it's great for quick snaps, ebay etc... though. plus the fuji brand / build quality etc... seemed top notch.

They also have the Canon Powershot A10 for 238.95 - 50.00 = 188.95. Which is the better camera? You guys think the powershot is worth the extra 50 or so bucks?

I looked into the powershot also, seems like a really good camera. If you want opinions on the 2 cams it would probably be a good idea to take a look at the forums over at dpreview.com

I wasn't either. It took pretty decent pictures, but the settings were so inconvienient to get to it made the camera a pain to use. Especially the fact you have to turn on the LCD screen and fumble through menus to change the flash settings (blah! Every other camera I've ever used has a toggle button on the camera case to do this). I don't think anything has changed with this one. This looks like a more thorough review :

I think I'm going to spend $60 more and get the Fuji Finepix 2600 which seems to be an awesome digicam!

This is a very nice deal though if you need a simple digicam.

strange. Order status today lists AoE2 being shipped and the USB Hub and the camera as "Shipment Pending". I wonder what that means
