This is ABSOLUTELY a hot deal! I bought one of these earlier this year for $500 and it was 100% worth it. This is one of the best consumer-level digital cameras I have encountered. I have nothing but good things to say about this camera and I am probably going to buy another one now (especially as a 'new' customer with a $30 off coupon) for gift-giving.

Just to put this deal in perspective to the 'retail' marketplace...

Egghead's auction currently has 2 of these at $469, and they're refurb'd. Now we all know that most people get stupid on Egghead's auctions, but won't they be peeved when they see this.
