its regular price for this camcorder. buy.com had it as deal of day several times at that price.

massmerchandise ( which are not out of business) had this camera at this price always

cpumaster - It looks like we both replied at the same time, hehe. Read those two review links I posted. They are both good reviews of this camera. Last week Thursday when this was Buy.com's DOTD it sold out quickly by 4:37 AM. So once you make up your mind I would buy it ASAP. Don't forget 2% back from eBates.com or 3% back from Dash.com

Fuji quality is good in general but this camera looks huge to me. physical design don't attract me to it

Just realize this camera has been out for almost 2 years now. The one review was from June 99 and this was a great camera then. Certainly, if this is your first digital camera, it would be a good camera.

Did a fatwallet price grabber on this and found the lowest price to be $447, so if that's the camera you want, that's a good price.

Didn't find the lower prices some have mentioned.
