First deal post so please be gentle.

OK, not burning down the house hot, but worthy of consideration if you are looking for a very decent 4MP digital camera with a 10X Opt.zoom in the $200.00 range. This is a NIB USA model with a 12 Mo parts/labor warranty.

Granted it is only 4MP, but the other features makes for a fair trade off for a few less MP's IMO. I used a friends S5100 last week, and the performance made me jump on this deal. One negitive is, it does not have a hot shoe, and another possible negitive for some, it uses xD memory and only comes with a 16MP card. A positive however is Amazon has new Fujifilm 128MP cards on sale for $18.99. Buy two and get free shipping.

I pulled the trigger on this deal.
buydig price reduced to $257.50
FedEx ship $ 12.00
Less Fuji Rebate -$ 50.00 Rebate was extended to 10/31/05
Total delivered AR $219.50

Linkey to deal. http://www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=FJFPS5100

The S5100 is Included in the "Best Cameras" category for 10-12X Optical "Super" Zooms at steves-digicams. See http://www.steves-digicams.com/best_cameras.html

I've got this camera. $219 isn't bad, but they were going for a bit less a few months ago when I bought mine. Watch the rebates, if one is out, more might follow. That's what was going on when I got mine.

The only issues I have are these:
- I haven't figured out how to take good pics of moving objects that are fairly close.
- If you zoom in close (5x or more), you need to use a tripod, any shaking shows up easily as blurred photo. Not so bad with landscape shots, mostly indoor super close stuff.
- xD cards are pricey. I would prefer SD or CF, but it was hard enough to get a camera I liked with the other feature requirements I had.

edit: anyone wanting to see some sample photos, PM me and I'll give you a URL to my gallery.

Got this cam and it was pretty good. Splurged and got the Pana FZ20. Now, I splurged again and got the FZ30. So, now I got the FZ20 for sale in FS/Trade

Overall, it was a nice, pretty compact camera for having 12x. Pictures during the day were pretty good, but then at night, it was hard zoomed in past 4. Noise wasn't much of an issue, and battery life was one of the best I've seen.

I got mine from buydig about 5-6 months ago about 3 days before the rebate started. I called them up, and they sent me a new invoice and I sent that in with the rebate. Rebate came back about 6 weeks later.
