fuji finepix a200 vs normal webcam...

The fuji finepix a200 costs around $150 which is about as high as I can spend. It can function as a webcam as well as a digital camera. Does anyone know if this will be better quality than a normal webcam (in the $100 - $130 range)? Also, it says its connection is usb. Does anyone know if that is usb2?

Personaly I dont know of the specific camera, but I am guessing that it is a 1.3 megapixel or so which is much higher than the .3 megapixel resolution of most webcams. If you take pictures inside/dark it will (probably) be quite bad quality, but in sunlight it should be just fine. My suggestion... make sure you buy it localy.

The camera is 2 megapixel. I am planning on using it indoors to record a projected image... do you think it will be bad for this? Would a normal webcam do a better job?
