Fuji Finepix 2600 HELP!

I'm having a problem uploading the pictures to the computer through the USB port. I have a USB Mass Storage Device exclamation mark in the device manager. I plug in the digital camera through the USB port and it brings up new hardware detected. I thought I installed the drivers, but apparently it says I haven't. So my question is: Do I just install the drivers again and then use the software provided to upload it? Or would I need to buy a separate memory card reader (serial, USB) to upload the pics? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

when i used the usb cable for my 2600 it worked fine ... if you want i could send you the drivers that i know work or worked on my win2k

if i remember i had to plug the thing in first then install the drivers - the opposite from what you normally do with usb devices ...
